PlatypusWatch Project Officer Dr Tamielle Brunt will talk about this amazing animal as well as the research happening in Brisbane. As you walk through known platypus habitat, Tamielle will talk about what keeps them happy in the waterways, local conservation efforts and how you can get involved with the ACF Platy-Project monitoring program.

The platy-project toolkit
By taking part you’ll help researchers understand more about the elusive platypus and how we can better protect them.
This toolkit from Australian Conservation Foundation contains all the information you need to go out looking for a platypus, and what to do if you do (or don’t) spot one.
Join our Bushcare Group
There are lots of ways to participate in our new bushcare group and it’s a great way to make a positive change in our local environment. Under the guidance of the Brisbane City Council and North Brisbane Catchments we will be aiming to improve the area to create a more bio diverse habitat at Wendon Way. Make sure you are subscribed to keep up to date. https://sustainablebridgemandowns.substack.com
