March Working Bee Cancelled
Sunday March 16 not going ahead
Good morning, I hope this message finds you safe and dry and that Alfred had a minimal impact for you and yours.
As most of you would know Albany Creek flooded once again but thankfully not as high as 2022. Our working site was totally submerged but looking from the path it appears that some of our new plants have survived. Whilst the creek went back down reasonably quickly who knows what was in the flood waters so I think it best to stay away from the site until it’s deemed safe. (Will be checking for guidance from Wes on this). I imagine that the site is super soggy as well and we’d only end up damaging it.
I’ll issue a new date once known.
